Assangerie

In last night’s dream, I was at a ‘weird clothing expo’ with Goodwin. We went around and looked at various things including hats and t-shirts and tried a few things on. I also saw some Doctor Who figures and I wanted to buy a figure of Ace because it was only £8, but I went off to look at something else and when I came back it had been sold, so I instead bought Sutekh for £12.

While we were looking around, Goodwin kept going on about going to the buffet, so we left quite early. We met up with my old friend Josh and a dark-haired girl he was with. We headed for food, passing a patisserie called Assangerie. The others were arguing about something, so I just walked on ahead of them a little.

Eventually we got to Wetherspoons. A waiter came rushing over and I said, “He looks like he’s never seen people before.” which got a laugh. Goodwin then said, “Never trust a thin waiter.” which didn’t get a laugh. I sat next the girl (which I was rather pleased about cos I wanted to talk to her some more) and noticed that, unlike the others, I didn’t have any cutlery. She offered me hers, but I said I’d go and get some – which I did. When I came back, there was a man in a pinstripe suit sitting on my chair, so I climbed over him and said “Get out of it.” and he moved. This made the girl laugh.

The final note I made for this dream was someone saying, “You must be warm.” but I don’t remember who said it.

It was at this point I woke up because I needed the toilet. I was a bit annoyed about this because I knew there was more to happen in the dream and I wanted to find out who the girl was. When I went back to sleep I played the dream through in my head to try and prompt a continuation, but it didn’t work. I dreamed about something else instead, but I can’t remember what it was.
